Oats Banana Pancakes

In our busy world, weekends come with a bit of fresh air. We tend to keep our ‘Things to do’ List aside and enjoy our Saturdays and Sundays with our Friends and Family members. So weekends call for special Lunches and dinners. But what about our Breakfasts? It should also be special…right?

Today’s recipe is a bit of an indulgence, that you like to enjoy with your friends and family members. But we also kept in mind the health factors too. So let’s dive in to make our Oats Banana Pancakes.

Ingredients::

  • Banana:: 1 ripe;
  • Regular Oats:: 2 Cups;
  • Whole Wheat Flour:: 1 Cup;
  • Milk:: 1 1/2 Cups;
  • Sugar:: As per taste;
  • Vanilla Essence:: 1tsp;
  • Baking Powder: 1/2 tsp;
  • Strawberries::1 Cup;
  • Blueberries::1/2 Cup;
  • Maple Syrup::3-4 tsps;
  • Nutrela (optional):: 1-2 tsps;
  • Sunflower oil::2-3 tsps;

Directions::

Step 1:: Mash a ripe banana into a paste. Add sugar, vanilla essence, milk and mix well. Then add the oats and whole wheat flour and mix into the pancakes like consistency. Add milk if needed.

Step 2:: Put 1 tsp of oil in a pan. After it gets heated up, put some of the batters and give it a pancake shape, with the back of a spoon. Wait until the lower side gets evenly cooked and turns brown in color. Then flip the other side and wait till it turns brown and crisp.

Step 3:: Spread 1-2 tsps of hazelnut spread over the top and add the blueberries and strawberries over the top. Now drizzle the maple syrup over the top and your Oats Banana Pancakes are ready to devour.
